- 250g ground pork or chicken
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Thai chilies, chopped
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ cup fresh Thai holy basil leaves
- Steamed jasmine rice
- 1 egg (optional, for frying)
